Roberts Middle School Library
Roberts Middle School Library offers a variety of services for JRMS students. Students may check out books, use computers for research, or work in the library on homework/class assignments. Students are required to check in and have a pass from a teacher in order to be in the library when not visiting with a class.

Damaged Books
When a book is returned damaged beyond repair, the replacement cost of the book will be charged. Damage to library materials includes but is not limited to: spills from food, drink or other substances; damage to cover or spine; cutting or tearing pages; or writing with pencil, pen, markers, etc.
Lost Books
Once a book is 30 days past due, the system will mark it as "lost" and students will be charged for the replacement cost of the book. If the book is found and returned in good condition, the fee will be dropped. If the student has already paid for the book but finds and returns it in good condition (during the same school year), then the amount paid will be refunded.
Cash or personal checks are acceptable forms of payment for fines or to cover the replacement cost of damaged or lost books. Please make personal checks out to Roberts Middle School Library.
Returning Books
At Roberts, returning your library books is quick and easy—no need to wait for a scheduled class visit like in elementary school! Students have two convenient options:
1. Hallway Book Drop
A book return slot is located just outside the library doors. You can drop your books off here anytime—even if the library is closed or busy. It's perfect for quick returns between classes!
2. Self Check-In Station
If time allows and you have permission from your teacher, you're welcome to come into the library and return your books using the self-checkout/check-in station.
